So.. I thought I'd post it here, so you guys can actually see what I can do 'sorta'.
Anniversary Cake for my mum and her GF 100_0510




So.. originally it was supposed to be a 'Welcome to the World' baby cake.. but the fondant and everything was just not working with me and I actually broke down because I honestly thought I was a failure and started doubting whether or not I should actually be looking at a career in this..
When mum and Kat came home though, they cheered me up and Kat started suggesting things and we ended up doing this instead. Kat helped and guided me through it, as she used to do this as a profession years ago (doing wedding cakes etc). It's for their 4th anniversary.. even though its still a month away.
Oh I should mention that this was a school assignment. =]
Pretty happy and proud at the moment.

you should DEFINITELY turn into a professional cake-baker.
For certain reasons I often work with those schools which "craft" italian cooks, bartenders ecc ecc so I am pretty sure of what I say.
